Is my jewelry sterling? Will it tarnish?
Yes and yes. All our jewelry, unless noted, is .925 sterling silver and yes, it will tarnish over time. The best way to keep this from happening is to wear it often...I even shower in mine. You can also clean it gently with a soft cloth...don't use silver polish because the letters will fade.

So it is not shiny silver?
No. All our jewelry pendants are hammered, sanded, tumbled and aged for a weathered, romantic look. The letters are all oxidized and are darker black than the rest of the piece. All my pieces are meant to look old.

Will my pendant look exactly like the picture?

No, it won't! Close, but not exactly the same. Because each of our pendants are stamped using one letter at a time, each piece will be slightly different. Not all of the letters will be perfectly lined up and/or straight but please know that this is what adds to the charm of our jewelry! Please know that I do not ship anything that I wouldn't be proud to wear myself.

Once I order, how long until my jewelry gets to me?
Your jewelry will be hand made once payment clears and almost always shipped within 10-14 days of purchase. We will keep you posted via email once we receive your order and the date we expect to ship. Holiday orders can take a bit longer, so order early for gift giving. Occasionally pieces are out of stock; we will let you know when you order if there will be a delay.

Can I order over the phone?
As of now, we only accept internet orders. We are a small business and email works best; also, it is the best way to insure the correct spelling on your pendant.

Packaging?
Our jewelry comes packaged and ready for gift giving in an aged box tied with a wide ribbon.

Payment?
We accept PayPal and all major credit cards...it's simple and safe.

Shipping?
Bella Michele offers a flat rate USPS shipping fee of $5.00 for all orders, no matter the size. Need a rush order? Contact us and we will do our best to help. Local (southern CA) orders can be picked up...once again, contact me for more info.

Returns?
No, we do not accept returns on custom jewelry unless a spelling/design error has been made by me. Please remember that each piece is made by hand and no two will be alike. Each letter is hand stamped and may not be even...this is what makes your piece unique. If you are truly unhappy with your purchase, please contact us within 7 days. We want you to love your jewelry!
